Volunteers

Volunteers are the heart of Australian country shows, and the Noosa Country Show is no exception.

As our community grows, many new residents bring with them vibrant city energy, but not always a connection to rural life. That’s exactly why our theme, “Where Town Meets Country”, is more meaningful than ever.

We’d love to see more of the broader Noosa community getting involved – not only in the Show itself but in the Noosa Show Society as a whole.

Whether you’re a long-time local or new to the area, there’s a place for you on the team!

There are plenty of ways to help, and we’re especially looking for support in the following areas:

Prep Week: Help us set up the Show grounds, both indoors and outdoors, in the days leading up to the event.

Pack Down Crew: This is a big need! Help us take everything down after the Show. Some stamina and lifting required.

Volunteer Support: Ensure volunteers are well cared for during the event – checking in on them, providing food and drinks, and organising breaks. Great for someone with people skills and a bit of energy.

Roving Photographer/s: Got a good camera and an eye for atmosphere? We need you to capture the buzz of the Show and upload images to our shared cloud folder.

Kitchen (Prep): Assist in preparing food and drinks (burgers, veggie burgers, cakes, tea/coffee) in the days before the Show.

Kitchen (Sales): Serve food and drinks during the event. Shifts are around 4 hours and mostly on your feet.

Bar: Serve and restock under the guidance of an RSA-accredited team member. Shifts are 4 hours with some lifting involved.

Parking Team: Help direct vehicles safely. This role requires some walking and standing.

Gates & Tickets: Welcome attendees with a smile, sell tickets, and help the day start right (seated or standing roles available).

Complimentary food and drinks during your shift
Free entry to the Show
