About the Noosa Country Show 2026

Get ready for two huge days of country fun, community spirit, and entertainment when the 2026 Noosa Country Show returns on Friday 11th and Saturday 12th September 2026!

Even better — Friday 11th September is a Public Holiday in the Noosa Shire, making it the perfect chance to enjoy a great day out with family and friends.

Known as the Show “where town meets country”, the Noosa Country Show is a much-loved local tradition filled with exciting ring events, competitions, displays, live entertainment, animals, exhibits, and plenty of delicious food.

More than just a Show, it’s a celebration of our community and rural heritage. It’s where kids discover where their food comes from, where local talents and creative skills are proudly showcased, and where people from across the region come together to connect, celebrate, and create lasting memories.

About Agricultural Shows

Since the first Agricultural Show was held in Hobart in 1822, agricultural shows have played an important role in shaping and connecting communities across Australia. They remain one of the nation’s oldest continuing events held in post-colonial Australia.

Today, around 587 agricultural shows are held across Australia each year, including 127 in Queensland alone.

These events are made possible by the dedication of more than 13,500 volunteers and collectively attract over 1.3 million visitors annually.
